Who are the SEALS?

Swansea City FC has always had supporters that live in England, the MAGS (Midland Avon and Gloucester Swans) were the first supporters club in England to help fellow Swans fans travel to games. There has been an informal group of London based Jacks that do go to games (some as far away as Holland) but never anything formal. Last year once we had survived the season of hell it was decided there were enough people out there to form a Supporters Club.

So why the South East bit?

Most of our members are based in London but there are a lot of Jacks who live in Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, East Anglia, Wiltshire etc We decided to broaden our catchment area to include Jacks in these areas.

What is the point of the SEALS?

Many reasons. Firstly it can be lonely and boring getting the 7.23 out of Paddington to a Swansea home game, so why not travel with other fans who may also be getting the train and make a day of it!We would like to hire a minibus for some games. It all depends on numbers but a minibus has its advantages. No more cold platforms or train delays. This is currently be looked at on a game by game basis, obviously if we have regular numbers week in week out, something more regular could be arranged.Social! Meets in London for beery evenings or get togethers to watch the Swans live on Sky, or indeed the Welsh National team. The main aim of the SEALS is to encourage more SE and London based fans to travel to games. Offering cheaper travel where we can and of course a good social gathering.

PLEASE NOTE THE SEALS IS A NOT FOR PROFIT, TOTALLY NON POLITICAL, SWANSEA CITY SUPPORTERS CLUB. ANY PROFITS THAT ARE MADE WILL BE PUT TOWARDS CHEAPER TRAVEL OR HELPING THE CLUB.
